Based in Miami, Florida, Seth S. Diamond is an attorney at Sloto & Diamond, PLLC. Focusing his practice primarily on probate and estate administration and litigation, his clients include beneficiaries, trustees and personal representatives throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties. Mr. Diamond also prepares and reviews trusts, wills, financial and health care powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents, and his background encompasses real estate transactions and litigation as well.
Some of Mr. Diamond's cases have included the representation of a beneficiary of a trust in a case involving a breach of fiduciary duty by the trustee, and in another matter, he obtained a summary judgment in favor of a trustee client against beneficiaries of the grantor's subsequent will who had contested the validity of certain provisions of the trust document. In addition to his courtroom successes, he has been able to obtain favorable mediated settlements as well. Admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, Mr. Diamond is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Majoring in marketing, Mr. Diamond attended the University of Florida Warrington College of Business, and he received a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1996. After working in the private sector for several years, he decided to pursue a legal education, and to that end, he enrolled at the Florida State University College of Law. While he was there, Mr. Diamond was a member of both the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy and the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law before being awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2008. Active in his community, his professional affiliations include the Dade County Bar Association.
