Ms. Collymore has been admitted to practice in Massachusetts since 2009, and she has handled these types of matters in her entire legal career.
Ms. Collymore has extensive experience in the preparation and review of a variety of estate planning documents, including last wills and testaments, financial and health care powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and irrevocable and living trusts. She treats each document as an integral part of a client?s overall plan, helping ensure that the plan as a whole meets the particular objectives and set of circumstances of each client.
Ms. Collymore is also well-versed in other aspects of elder law, including counseling her clients and their family members on such issues as Medicaid planning and long-term care alternatives, and she has helped people who have loved ones of any age with mental or physical challenges and who are seeking conservatorships or guardianships. In addition, she has assisted heirs, beneficiaries and fiduciaries through the estate administration process.
Ms. Collymore majored in criminal justice at Northeastern University, and she was a member of the school?s track and field team before receiving a Bachelor of Science in 2002. Remaining in Boston, she then went on to attend Suffolk University Law School, and while she was there, she spent a summer in Sweden taking business law courses before returning to Massachusetts and obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2009. Ms. Collymore?s professional affiliations include the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
