Anthony J. Minko is the founder of Minko Law Office in Brooklyn. He provides representation in estate planning and administration as well as a variety of tax, business and elder law matters to people throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area. Mr. Minko, admitted to practice before all New York state courts, has received a "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo for both the high quality of his legal work and his high degree of ethics.
In his estate planning practice, Mr. Minko regularly prepares wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and implements for his clients advanced business, asset protection and tax minimization strategies. His aim is to protect and preserve his clients' wealth and assets, with an eye toward reducing taxes where possible. Mr. Minko also assists clients and their family members who need long-term care, whether at home or in nursing home facilities. He also has extensive experience representing beneficiaries in contests estates and related litigation.
Majoring in philosophy with a minor in Economics, Mr. Minko attended Haverford College as an undergraduate, and he spent a year abroad studying at the London School of Economics before receiving a bachelor's degree with honors in 2001. He then pursued his legal education at Fordham University School of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2005. After he graduated, Mr. Minko spent three years with the New York City Law Department as assistant corporation counsel before entering private practice. He founded his current firm in April 2009.
