As partner at Cauble, Selvig & Whittington, LLP, Christopher Cauble represents clients in Portland, Oregon, and the southern Oregon area. His practice areas include business law, administrative law, federal and state appeals, probate and estate planning, water law, real estate and transactions, trial work in federal and state courts, and complex civil litigation in federal and state courts.
Mr. Cauble attended Willamette University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, graduating with departmental honors. At Gonzaga University School of Law, he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor degree in 1996 and is now admitted to practice in both Washington and Oregon. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.
A member of the Oregon State Bar, Mr. Cauble has worked on many committees within the organization. These include the Judicial Administration Committee, the Ethics Committee, the House of Delegates and the Administrative Law Executive Committee. His firm received the Better Business Bureau Small Business of the Year acknowledgement in 2015, and in 2013, Mr. Cauble was recognized by Best Attorneys in America.
Fluent in English and French, Mr. Cauble believes in giving back to his community. He does this through his pro bono and volunteer work with the following organizations: Boy Scouts of America; the Rogue Valley Chorale Association; the Rogue Community College Foundation Board of Directors; Rogue Gateway Rotary Club, president; and the Grants Pass Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors, vice president.
