She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Texas Tech University School of Law, where she was a member of the Organization of Women Law Students and on the board of the Mock Trial and Moot Court Committee.ÿ

In addition, Ms. Herrington, while in law school, was the executive symposium editor of the Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal, Volume 8. She also was a 1L Mock Trial Competition finalist and was a runner-up of the Mack Kidd Administrative Law Moot Court Competition, receiving the title of Best Oralist for both competitions.ÿ

Actively involved in the legal field, Ms. Herrington is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association?s Family Law Section, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Collin County Bar Association, Collin County Young Lawyers Association, The Junior League of Collin County and the Denton County Bar Association.ÿ
