A shareholder at Baird, Crews, Schiller & Whitaker, P.C., Benjamin D. Burnett handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters. His firm is located in Temple, Texas, and he provides representation to clients throughout the state. Mr. Burnett attended the University of Oklahoma?s Michael F. Price College of Business as an undergraduate, and he majored in marketing and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2007. He then went on to pursue his legal education at the University of Houston Law Center, and in 2009, he was awarded his Juris Doctor.
A portion of Mr. Burnett?s caseload has centered on probate litigation, and he has represented fiduciaries as well as heirs and beneficiaries in will contests and related matters. Mr. Burnett has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 2010, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. The president of the Bell County Bar Association, his other professional memberships include the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Judge Abner V. McCall American Inn of Court.
