I am a proud native Arizonan with close ties to the State and our local community. My family still lives in the northwest valley. I earned the chance to attend any of the in-state universities on scholarship and quickly chose Northern Arizona University for the beautiful Aspen filled, mountain town of Flagstaff, and the abundance of critical thinking degrees offered by the University. Throughout my college career, I remained focused on my goal to attend law school and worked for a prominent law office in Flagstaff. Upon graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I decided to get my feet wet in a larger corporate legal office in Phoenix. As I worked as a project assistant with this large corporate firm for three years, I was able to solidify and confirm my goal to attend law school. I made the huge move to Chicago, IL to fulfill that dream at The John Marshall Law School in 2008. In 2011, I returned to my home state of Arizona, as it was always my intention to practice law here. I entered into private practice knowing that I would have the opportunity to work with and directly assist my clients. I have focused my practice almost exclusively on estate planning and probate matters where I believe my compassion and understanding for clients, their goals, and their concerns are valued. My practice also includes adoption cases (both family and private), which is one area of the law in which going to court is a happy occasion. In addition, I have assisted clients secure guardianships for juveniles and for adult family members suffering from cognitive disabilities or mental illness, when they are no longer able to make important financial and medical decisions for themselves. I find my practice rewarding on a daily basis and look forward to providing an exceptional experience to all of my clients. I look for opportunities to give back to the community often and appreciate the chance to provide legal services when I can with organizations like Wills For Heroes and contribute to functions such as National Adoption Day. When I am away from the office, I enjoy traveling, both domestically and internationally, and often spend time dreaming up my next big trip. I love exploring new places around our beautiful state, spending time with my family, friends and my fur-baby Simon.
