Kent L. Kristof is an accomplished attorney in complex trust, estate and conservatorship law, who is dedicated to protecting the financial interests of clients and litigating for the rights of elder abuse victims. He has extensive experience in mediation, but is ready to aggressively fight for clients' rights in court when necessary. ÿ

Some of Mr. Kristof's notable successes included several high-value trust and estate disputes resulting in judgments in excess of $1 million. His achievements have led to his being named "Top Attorney" in 2020 and his law firm being recognized by Pasadena Weekly as the "Best Law Firm of Pasadena" in 2011.

Mr. Kristof graduated with highest honors from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a major in history and a minor in Spanish. ÿMr. Kristof earned memberships with Phi Alpha Theta honor society and the Golden Key International Honour Society. He went on to receive his Master's degree in history in 2002, again graduating with highest honors, and then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2004. ÿMr. Kristof has earned his LLM (Legum Magister) in estate planning and elder law. Currently, Mr. Kristof is drafting his doctoral dissertation (Doctorate of Juridical Science aka JSD, a research and academic-based doctorate in law) entitled "Economics of Probate Administration: Efficiencies and 'Full Cost' of Delays."

Giving back to his community is important to Mr. Kristof. He has worked as a settlement officer for the Pro Bono Probate Settlement Program of the Los Angeles Superior Court and volunteered with the Pro Per Guardianship Clinic. Currently, he serves as a Probate Volunteer Panel attorney for the Los Angeles Superior Court. ÿMr. Kristof also acts as Arbitrator with the Attorney Client Mediation Arbitration Service hearing disputes between other attorneys and their clients. Mr. Kristof is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. ÿMr. Kristof recently completed his tenure as the Young Lawyer's Division of the American Bar Association as Liaison to the American Bar Association's Commission on Law And Aging. ÿMr. Kristof also serves on the University of San Diego, School of Law, Los Angeles Alumni Chapter Board.
