Patrick A. Kohlmann is a partner at Temmerman, Cilley & Kohlmann, LLP, with offices in San Jose and Danville, California. Providing representation to clients throughout Santa Clara and Contra Costa counties, he focuses his practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration and litigation, and guardianships and conservatorships. Mr. Kohlmann has been certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the Board of Legal Specialization of The State Bar of California.

Mr. Kohlmann regularly prepares and reviews revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, health care and financial powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. He also counsels business owners on succession planning for their companies, and he assists individuals and families with wealth preservation tactics and advises them on the taxation of trusts and estates. He has also received court appointments to act as counsel for people who are the subject of conservatorships.

Mr. Kohlmann has delivered scores of presentations on topics related to his practice areas to continuing legal education program attendees as well as to other groups, including the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley, and the California Society of CPAs. He is also a certified public accountant, and he practiced in that field before becoming a lawyer. Admitted to practice before all California state courts, Mr. Kohlmann is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
