About Craig L. Judson

Attorney Craig L. Judson is the managing partner of the Bold, Polisner, Maddow, Nelson & Judson law firm, which has offices in Walnut Creek and Sacramento, California. A highly rated attorney with more than 35 years of legal experience, Mr. Judson focuses his practice primarily on estate and trust planning, trust and probate administration, probate and trust litigation, as well as conservatorship and guardianship cases. In addition, he has extensive experience with general civil litigation matters involving personal injury, construction defects, real estate, and contract disputes.

A 1981 cum laude graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts in political science/public service, Mr. Judson attended the University of California Davis School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1984. The State Bar of California admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. federal court.

Throughout his career, Mr. Judson has also gained considerable experience representing public agencies with a wide range of legal issues, such as real estate disputes, inverse condemnation, personal injury defense, construction issues, and contract disputes. He has also counseled and advised his public agency clients, most notably water agencies, on a number of business-related matters and served as primary litigation counsel for the firm's public agency clients.

Since shifting his focus to estate planning and administration, Mr. Judson has helped hundreds of individuals and families protect themselves and their assets for the future while assisting them with creating lasting legacies for their heirs and loved ones. Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Mr. Judson is a current adjunct legal professor at UC Davis School of Law, where he teaches two very popular practical skills courses in estate planning and administration, as well as civil procedure and litigation.ÿ

Active in his legal community, Mr. Judson is a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California as well as the Consumer Attorneys of California, American Bar Association, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, and The State Bar of California. Giving back to his local community, he also serves on the board of directors for The Reutlinger Community, a non-profit assisted living and skilled nursing facility, Sinai Memorial Chapel Chevra Kadisha, as well as serving as a director for the charitable organization ?A Brighter Day,? which focuses on teen mental health issues and outreach.ÿ
