About Malcolm B. Seawell

Malcolm B. Seawell is the founder of his eponymous law firm that is based in Englewood, Colorado. Dividing his practice among criminal defense matters, personal injury litigation and estate planning, he provides representation to clients throughout the Denver area. Mr. Seawell majored in criminal justice and economics at American University and received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in 1987. His legal education was obtained at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and in 1991, he was awarded his Juris Doctor with highest honors.

After he graduated from law school, Mr. Seawell served as the deputy district attorney for the state?s 18th Judicial District, where he handled the prosecution of state crimes. Since entering private practice, he has received a great deal of acclaim from his colleagues for the overall high quality of his work and his successful track record. Among his honors are an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 peer review rating through Avvo. In addition, Mr. Seawell has been named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100.

In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Seawell represents people who are facing misdemeanor or felony charges.
