Kelly M. In 2008, Kelly received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver?s Daniels College of Business and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver?s Sturm College of Law. In 2009, she received her LL.M. in taxation from the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program. Kelly?s tax controversy and litigation experience includes representation of individual and corporate taxpayers and accounting professionals through all facets of civil and criminal tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Department of Justice, and state and local taxing authorities. Matters handled include audit navigation, audit reconsideration, innocent spouse requests, penalty abatement/appeals, employment tax and trust fund recovery penalty (TFRP) cases, collections (liens, levies and garnishments), offers in compromise (OIC), installment agreements, non-filers and voluntary disclosures, offshore tax matters including OVDP/OVDI, claims for refund, and U.S. Tax Court and district court litigation and appeals. She also represents clients in probate litigation, real estate transactions, and business formation, planning, transactions, and operations. Kelly is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Court for the District of Colorado, United States Tax Court, and Colorado Supreme Court.
