About Sean Maye

At the Maye Law Group LLC, Sean Maye is a criminal defense lawyer and provides a variety of legal services to the people of Colorado. These include general advisement and consultations, insurance coverage, estate planning and probate, family law, mediation defense, arbitration defense, simple conflict dispute resolution, contract negotiation, DUI/DWI and cases involving the Colorado Victim Rights Act.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Mr. Maye is admitted to practice in Florida and Colorado. He attended Middlebury College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology in 2011. In 2014, he graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Throughout his career, he has worked in the following legal industries: real estate, property, insurance, contracts and civil rights.

For several years, Mr. Maye served with the Miami-Dade Public Defender?s Office as an executive policy intern, a certified legal intern and an assistant public defender. During this time, he was able to expand his passion for helping the underdog and in advocating for others as he represented those charged with a variety of felonies and misdemeanors. His job included advocating for clients through the entire litigation process. This involved trial, sentencing and appeals, procedural and evidentiary motions, bond hearings and pretrial constitutional motions.

Mr. Maye then moved into corporate and civil litigation. For the work he has done as an attorney over the years, he has been included on The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 list. He is an experienced, highly qualified attorney who is prepared to represent those who are facing criminal charges.
