Craig R. Hersch is the senior partner at Sheppard, Brett, Stewart, Hersch, Kinsey & Hill, PA, located in Fort Myers, Florida. Focusing his practice on estate planning, he works with clients throughout the state in combining tax, legal and financial strategies to implement his clients goals and eliminate their dangers. As a measure of his experience and background, Mr. Hersch is a board-certified specialist in Wills, Trusts & Estates by The Florida Bar.

After graduating from the University of Florida in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, Mr. Hersch attended the University of Florida College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1989. He spent three years as an associate with an international accounting firm prior to entering private practice. Admitted to practice in Florida, and the District of Columbia, he is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

A member of the board of directors of a privately held trust company, Mr. Hersch has served on several committees of The Florida Bar and the Florida Institute of CPAs. Highly regarded by his peers, he has received an AV Preeminent* rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named in the "Top 100 Attorney" list by Worth magazine, and is on Trusts & Estates Magazine's Editorial Advisory Board, and is also a contributing "Xpert" for Practice Development on Trust & Estate magazine's website, wealthmanagement.com.ÿ

Frequently called upon to give presentations on legal and accounting matters at continuing education workshops, Mr. Hersch also participates in the production of videos that help to clarify common estate planning issues and questions. The author of a weekly column on estate planning for a local newspaper, he is an enthusiastic cyclist and triathlete who enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
