Hello, and thank you for your interest in my background. I grew up in Alabama, became an Eagle Scout during high school, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force soon after graduation. I spent nearly all of my 20's in Las Vegas, Nevada, before moving to Southern California to attend college on the G.I. Bill. As I'm sure anyone with blue-collar roots can relate to, I have known nothing but long days and hard work my entire life, and I'm proud of it. As a first generation attorney, I hope to afford my children better opportunities than the ones I had, even though I am eternally grateful for everything our country offered me as a veteran. I love Florida, and chose Jacksonville to settle down and raise a family. I'm a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, where I live with my wonderful wife, Melissa (the other half of Cain & Cain), our amazing daughters, and a dog named Bella. Currently, I am licensed to practice law in Florida, where I attended law school. Aside from zealous advocacy, the lawyer?s primary role is to ensure you, our client, can perceive both the positive and negative aspects of a complex legal issue. Lawyers must boil down unfamiliar topics and promote well-informed, rational, decision-making processes.
