I am an Associate with Brennan Manna & Diamond, PL in Jacksonville, Florida. My practice includes estate planning, probate, trust administration, and guardianship matters. I have experience with advanced estate planning techniques such as drafting and funding irrevocable life insurance trusts and special needs trusts, planning for estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes and forming family limited partnerships. I also advise clients with respect to planned charitable giving, asset protection, and choice of entity for business creation and succession planning. My goal is to help clients design and implement practical and innovative estate plans and to expertly guide clients through contested and uncontested probate and guardianship matters and serve clients with trust administration needs.I have represented individuals, businesses and their accountants in resolving federal tax controversy issues at the administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service and before the United States Tax Court. My work has included brokering sophisticated offers in compromise, successfully negotiating the abatement of tax penalties and interest, resolving corporate and individual audit adjustments, and discharging taxes in bankruptcy. In addition to handling federal income, employment, and excise taxes matters, I have represented clients before the Florida Department of Revenue concerning sales and use taxes. I also have considerable experience preparing personal and business federal tax returns.I studied Business Administration (Finance) at Auburn University and graduated from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University with honors. After law school, I completed the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. I am licensed to practice before the state courts of Florida and Alabama and eligible to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Tax Court.
