A veteran attorney and founder of the law firm of Fisher & Wilsey, P.A., George F. Wilsey was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1958 and has gone on to build a powerful reputation since then. Helping families preserve their assets and future generation for over 60 years, he has handled matters during his distinguished career that have included estate planning, estate and trust administration, wills and trusts, and probate litigation.

A 1953 graduate of Florida State University, Mr. Wilsey received his B.S. and moved to the George Washington University Law School to pursue law. He graduated Order of the Coif with his Juris Doctor in 1958. He is a former president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and a fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Mr. Wilsey is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions from prestigious organizations. He holds an AV Preeminent* peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization?s highest rating. He was listed among the Florida Trend's Legal Elite honorees and the ?Best Lawyers in America? by Tampa Bay Magazine.

A native of Virginia, Mr. Wilsey has handled a number of cases before the United States Supreme Court. He is frequently requested as a speaker and presenter by many educational institutions and legal organizations to speak on topics related to estate planning. He has published a number of articles and is the co-author of The Florida Bar?s Will and Trust Contest Chapter of Litigation Under the Florida Probate Code manual.
