Attorney Nathan Carney is the founder and owner of Carney Law Firm in Tampa, Florida. A former cryptologic linguist with the U.S. Air Force, he fully understands the values of hard work and dedicated service, and he has gained a reputation for his outstanding legal abilities and a zealous advocacy for his clients both inside and outside the courtroom.

A 1998 graduate of the University of Illinois, Mr. Carney obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2000, where he served as associate editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law. He is admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in Florida as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Active in his legal community, Mr. Carney is a member of the Hillsborough County and American Bar Associations and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association. He has also served as co-chair and education director of the Real Estate Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and he is a member of the Bay Area Real Estate Council.
Outside his legal practice, Mr. Carney supports his local community throughout his involvement with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, where he has served as president, vice president and executive committee member as well as a board trustee. He has also served on the board of The Tampa Connection and the University of Michigan Club of Tampa Bay.
