About Sarah Randal Watchko

Attorney Sarah R. Watchko is a partner at Hill & Watchko, LLC, in Alpharetta, Georgia. Ms. Watchko dedicates her practice to elder law and estate planning and serves clients throughout the north Atlanta metropolitan region.

Ms. Watchko earned bachelor?s degrees in philosophy and psychology from East Carolina University, graduating magna cum laude. She attained her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and is a certified elder law attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation. While attending law school, she gained experience in elder law at the Wake Forest University School of Law?s Elder Law Clinic.

Licensed to practice law since 2008, Ms. Watchko is experienced in matters involving trust and estate planning, estate administration, elder law (including Medicaid and VA planning for long-term care) special needs planning, and trust administration. Following law school, she served as a staff attorney at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society?s Georgia Senior Legal Hotline. She went on to work at private Georgia based firms before joining her partner Cleve Hill at Hill & Watchko, LLC.

Ms. Watchko is an active member of her legal community. She belongs to the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is also a member of the Atlanta Bar Association?s estate planning and probate section and a former chair of the association?s elder law section.

In addition, Ms. Watchko enjoys providing pro bono service to various organizations. These include the DeKalb County Probate Information Clinic, the DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, and the Fulton County Probate Court Probate Information Center. Sarah also serves on the board of PLAN of Georgia, Annandale Village, and on The Drake House's Professional Advisory Council
