Mary Aunita Prebula is an attorney with Prebula & Associates LLC who represents clients in Georgia, with offices in Atlanta and Duluth, and represents clients in other states as needed. With over 35 years of experience, Ms. Prebula handles matters of business litigation, family law, employment litigation, personal injury, insurance coverage, and estate planning and probate. Within those areas she has deep experience in unfair competition, federal civil practice, ERISA, employment matters including harassment and discrimination, and family law.
In 1974, Ms. Prebula graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she obtained a Master of Education in 1978. Her education completed with a Juris Doctor she obtained in 1984 from Emory University School of Law.
Ms. Prebula is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. A member of the State Bar of Georgia, Ms. Prebula is also actively involved in the Atlanta Bar Association and the Gwinnett County Bar Association. In her effort to improve her practice and the legal profession, she holds memberships with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the American Bar Association.
