Robby Hughes is the founder of Hughes and Associates in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Many of his cases have set new legal precedents and helped establish new laws in the areas of probate, wills and business torts.

Robby graduated from Florida State University in 1977 with a degree in hotel and restaurant management. He then helped establish his family's printing company while assisting with its day-to-day operations. Learning firsthand the needs many small-business owners have finding a quality, trustworthy attorney, Robby attended Georgia State University College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1992.

Along with practicing before all of Georgia's state courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, Robby is also admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. In 1993, he received the Gwinnett County Bar Association Pro Bono Project Award, and in 2001, he received the 10 Year Award from the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation?s Saturday Lawyer Program.
