Lynn Bayes-Weiner is an attorney and partner with the law firm Thomas & Bayes-Weiner, LLC, in Overland Park, Kansas. Ms. Bayes-Weiner has a practice devoted to estate planning and handles matters involving probate, trusts and wills. She serves clients in the Kansas City metropolitan area. She has been licensed to practice law in Missouri since 2012, and in Kansas since 2013.

Ms. Bayes-Weiner holds a bachelor?s degree in education and a master?s degree in counseling from Shippensburg University. She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. While attending law school, she served as symposia editor for the UMKC Law Review. She has also spoken on estate planning topics at various continuing legal education events.

Since beginning her law career, Ms. Bayes-Weiner has been recognized for her accomplishments. In 2012, she won the Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium Prize for an article titled ?History Lessons from a So-Called ?Death Tax:? Making the Case for the Federal Estate Tax.?

Ms. Bayes-Wiener is an active member of the Kansas City and Missouri legal communities and belongs to various professional organizations. She is active in The Missouri Bar and serves on the organization?s subcommittee on digital assets and elder law subcommittee of the probate and trust committee.
