Sahmra A. Stevenson is an attorney and founding partner of SA Stevenson Law in Columbia, Maryland. Ms. Stevenson dedicates her practice to a variety of matters including family law, estate planning and probate and business matters, representing clients throughout the state of Maryland.

Ms. Stevenson graduated from American University Washington College of Law where she was a participant in the 2009 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People?s Law Fellow program, a distinction granted to only a select few law students throughout the country. Throughout her education, she also gained valuable legal experience by working for various state court judges.

In addition to her law practice, Ms. Stevenson is involved with various professional legal organizations including the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., and the American Bar Association. Throughout her career, she has been involved in a variety of roles within the organizations, particularly the young lawyers? sections of both groups.

Ms. Stevenson has received a wealth of recognition for her contributions to the legal profession. She has authored articles that have been featured in the American Bar Association?s Young Lawyers Division newsletter and has received awards including the Melody Tagliaferri-Cronin Distinguished Service award from the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., in 2015.
