A 2004 graduate of Washington & Lee University with a degree in politics, Ms. Gordon returned to her native Baltimore and attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor, with honors, in 2007. She then served as legal clerk to the honorable W. Newton Jackson, III in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County before entering private practice.

Along with maintaining a successful legal practice, Ms. Gordon also volunteers her time and services with Mid-Shore Pro Bono, Inc., and she has received the Young Attorney Award from the organization in 2009 for her outstanding and selfless contributions. In addition, Ms. Gordon has earned the respect of her peers as witnessed by her top lawyer ratings as well as a Leading Lawyers designation from "What's Up Eastern Shore."

Committed to her local community as well, Ms. Gordon currently serves on the Talbot County Advisory Board for the Mid-Shore Community Foundation. She is also the former board president of Christ Church Day School as well as treasurer for the Baker-King Fund.
