In her probate and trust administration practice, Ms. Boynton provides advice and counsel to Personal Representatives (also known as executors), and successor Trustees,ÿ helping ensure that the testator's wishes are followed with respect to distributions to heirs, that all Register of Wills requirements are complied with and applicable tax returns are filed. When not representing the Personal Representative, she also represents beneficiaries during the probate or trust administration processÿ as well.

Her real estate background spans many years of title abstracting, a large volume of settlement work during the years when she had past ownership interests in title and settlement companies, in addition to the more case specific work that she continues to do at her current firm related to estate work, court appointments as a Trustee to sell real estate, corporate work and development work.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Boynton attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she interned for Judge Howard Chasanow, a judge on the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, before receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1979. She attended law school at the University of Baltimore School of Law, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 1982. After graduation, she served a clerkship with the Honorable Judge John F. McAuliffe, who was serving as a judge on the Montgomery County Circuit Court at that time, before entering private practice. Admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
