Michael R. Couture is an associate attorney at Vidoli Couture, LLP in Somerville, Massachusetts. Mr. Couture practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and special needs planning, serving clients in Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk counties.

Mr. Couture has experience with a wide range of issues, including probate, public benefits eligibility, conservatorships and guardianships. He also assists disabled and elderly Massachusetts residents with Medicaid, Social Security and veterans benefits. He has appeared in administrative hearings before the Department of Developmental Services, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.

Recognizing the importance of helping seniors and disabled people, Mr. Couture provides trusted and dedicated representation to each client. He is committed to guiding his clients and their families through each step of the legal process, ensuring their rights are protected.

Outside of the office, Mr. Couture stays involved in his legal community through activities and participation in various organizations. He regularly speaks at seminars and conferences and is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council. He sits on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Mr. Couture graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor?s degree in interdisciplinary studies, business and communications. He earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School. After completing law school, he took the Massachusetts bar examination and received his license to practice law, making him qualified to practice before all Massachusetts state courts.
