Douglas G. Chalgian is an elder law, estate planning and probate attorney at Chalgian & Tripp Law Office PLL in East Lansing, Michigan. Mr. Chalgian has over 25 years of legal experience and represents clients in East Lansing and throughout the state of Michigan. He provides committed and dedicated representation, developing personal relationships with his clients and guiding them through the legal process.

Over his years in practice, Mr. Chalgian has been involved in many significant cases. He holds an elder law certification from the National Elder Law Foundation and often writes and lectures on elder law, estate planning and probate. A leader within his legal community, Mr. Chalgian was appointed to the Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging and served on the Michigan Trust Code Committee. He is a former chair of the State Bar of Michigan Probate & Estate Planning Section and Elder Law and Disability Rights Section, and current member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He served on the boards of the Alzheimer?s Association Michigan Chapter and the Michigan Society of Gerontology.ÿ

Mr. Chalgian received a bachelor?s degree from Knox College and earned his law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, now known as Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He is qualified to practice before all Michigan state courts.
