John D. Mabley is an attorney at Chalgian & Tripp Law Office PLLC in Southfield, Michigan. Mr. Mabley has over 45 years of legal experience and concentrates his practice on elder law, estate planning, and probate and estate administration. He serves clients throughout Michigan.

Over his many years in practice, Mr. Mabley has guided clients through complex estate planning and elder law matters. Along with being an experienced litigator, he has served as a mediator and as an expert witness in probate litigation cases. He regularly lectures for The Institute of Continuing Legal Education and is the author of several articles about trusts and estates for legal publications.

The publication The Best Lawyers in America has listed Mr. Mabley several years in a row. DBusiness Magazine named him one of the ?Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit? each year since 2009, and he received recognition from Leading Lawyers in 2020.

Outside of his law practice, Mr. Mabley is a leader within the legal profession. He is a fellow and past chair of the Michigan Chapter of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has served as chair of the State Bar of Michigan Probate & Estate Planning Section. He enjoys giving back to his local community, serving on various boards of directors for nonprofits and participating in community organizations.

Mr. Mabley earned a bachelor?s degree from the University of Michigan before going on to graduate from Wayne State University Law School. He holds a license to practice law before all Michigan state courts.
