He is also a volunteer attorney for Legal Assistance of Dakota County, Ltd. and a volunteer mentor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.ÿ Mr. Kins was recently unanimously approved by the Dakota County Board of Commissioners to serve on the Dakota County Personnel Board of Appeals through 2023 in a position which addresses employment disputes within the county.

Mr. Kins earned a bachelor?s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota and received his law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. He holds licenses to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
