Lisa M. Elliott is an attorney and the founder of Elliott Law Offices, P.A., in Minneapolis, Minnesota. An experienced litigator and mediator, Ms. Elliott practices all aspects of family law, including divorce, adoption, child support, custody, paternity, property division and more. She serves clients in Minneapolis and the surrounding areas, including Apple Valley, Bloomington, Burnsville, Chaska, Eden Prairie, Edina, Shakopee, St. Louis Park and Richfield.

Ms. Elliott graduated magna cum laude from Regis College with bachelor?s degrees in business administration and public relations. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating magna cum laude. Following law school, she developed her legal skills by clerking for a Minnesota Court of Appeals judge and working for a private Minneapolis-based firm.

Along with being admitted to practice in the states of Colorado, Minnesota and South Dakota, Ms. Elliott is also licensed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. She opened her own firm in 1995.

In addition to being an experienced litigator, Ms. Elliott is familiar with alternative dispute resolution methods, including financial early neutral evaluation, mediation and social early neutral evaluation. Her skills have earned her the rating of AV Preeminent* by the peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Elliott is involved with a variety of professional organizations. She belongs to the Hennepin County Bar Association and is a member of the group?s family law section. She is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
