The founder of Lifescape Law and Development, LLC, P. Glen Smith leads a multidisciplinary team of professionals providing life care planning services such as estate planning, elder law, healthcare advocacy, financial and asset protection, housing services, and family mediation and coordination. He is based in Liberty, Missouri, and he provides representation to clients throughout the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.ÿ

Mr. Smith attended the Tennessee Technological Institute as an undergraduate and received a Bachelor of Science in 1978. He then went on to pursue his legal education at the University of Memphis Cecil C, Humphrey School of Law, and in 1983, he was awarded his Juris Doctor. Mr. Smith also holds a Master of Divinity from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, having obtained that in 2007.

After several years in the private business sector, Mr. Smith opened a firm that handled business and elder law matters, and in August 2019, he founded his current firm. In his estate planning practice, he prepares last wills and testaments, advance medical directives, a wide variety of living and revocable trusts, and health care and financial powers of attorney. Mr. Smith tailors each document to the particular objectives and circumstances of his clients, and he helps them to update them when certain events such as births and divorces occur.

In his elder law practice, Mr. Smith furnishes advice and counsel to older clients and their family members and other loved ones on a variety of matters. He works with them to determine the type of long-term care that is most suitable for their needs, including assisted living facilities and nursing homes, and he advises them on Medicaid planning and asset protection. Mr. Smith has been admitted to practice before all Missouri state courts since 1984.
