About Kristin Overboe

Attorney Kristin Overboe is the founder of Overboe Law, which serves the people of Fargo and the surrounding areas in eastern North Dakota. When she founded her law firm in 2010, she did so with the goal of providing high-quality legal representation to individuals who face delicate family law matters, such as divorce, child custody and adoption. In addition to her primary family law practice, she also now offers representation to those eligible for compensation related to Syngenta corn and other mass torts, assistance with contracts, and estate planning services.

Ms. Overboe began her legal career in 2010 after earning her law degree from the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law and her admission to the State Bar Association of North Dakota. After law school, she immediately went into private practice by founding her Fargo law office.

Over the past five years, the legal community has regularly recognized Ms. Overboe's abilities and passion, especially in the area of family law. In 2014, she had the opportunity to speak about a topic in which she strongly believes ? the North Dakota Shared Parenting Initiative. Her role as a guest speaker was the result of the acclaim she earned for an article she published on the same topic.

Thanks to attorney Overboe's dedication to her profession and her clients, she has earned a number of honors from the legal community. She has a "Good" rating from Avvo, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys included her on its list of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under Age 40 in North Dakota and the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys listed her among North Dakota's 10 Best Under 40.
