Graduating summa cum laude from the University of North Dakota, Ms. Weerts earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and psychology. She then went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 1996.

Going through legal matters is difficult, especially when family issues are involved. She treats each client with respect, regardless of his or her situation, because she knows how challenging a divorce or custody dispute can be.
