Samantha M. Benton is a partner at Merus Law. Her firm is located in Hood River, Oregon, and she provides representation to clients throughout Oregon and Washington. She helps families navigate complex and stressful legal issues related to family law, child custody, child support, estate planning, probate, wills and trusts.

Ms. Benton studied at the University of Puget Sound, and then focused on estate planning at the University of Oregon School of Law. Prior to partnering at Merus Law, she gained extensive experience by working at a well-known family law and estate planning law firm in Portland. She uses this experience to resolve her clients? cases efficiently and cost-effectively.

Admitted to practice law in the states of Oregon and Washington, Ms. Benton gained substantial knowledge while working as a Family Law Program Manager at the Oregon Judicial Department as well as at the Oregon Legislature. She also served as a clerk at Lane County Circuit Court for the Honorable Valeri Love, and the Honorable Eveleen Henry.
