Partner at Coulter & May, PC, Colin May represents clients in southwestern Pennsylvania in matters related to trusts, wills and estates. As an attorney with years of experience and knowledge, he has represented clients across many industries, including federal tax, oil and gas rights, and retirement and health plan compliance. With a belief that all families and individuals should have a plan in place for the future, he strives to provide the highest quality legal representation in the area.

In 2012, Mr. May graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts. He then attended Duquesne University School of Law and graduated with honors in 2015. While in law school, he was distinguished for his legal scholarship as the Duquesne Law Review?s Production Editor. He also received two CALI Awards, one in constitutional law and another in federal income taxation.

Mr. May is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Probate and Trust Section and Elder Law Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association. A member of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, he is passionate about educating local families about the importance of having a plan for their assets, heirs and estates.

With a focus on issues that are unique to the geographic area, Mr. May comes up with insightful plans that are customized around the needs of his clients. He stays up to date in the estate planning and administration legal area and regularly educates other estate planning professionals at continuing education courses.
