After receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Mississippi in 1990, Mr. Ott earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 1994. That same year, the State Bar of Texas admitted him to practice, and The Mississippi Bar admitted him in 1995. The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi also issued its approval for him to practice in its courtrooms. In addition, he is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Focusing solely on estate-related matters, Mr. Ott has the knowledge and skills necessary to help his clients achieve their goals no matter how complex. He also serves clients who need representation for contested estate matters and litigation. Additionally, Mr. Ott has a wealth of experience using family limited partnerships, trusts and other entity formations to help business owners and other professionals protect and integrate their family-owned commercial enterprises.

Along with his dedication to his legal practice, Mr. Ott is also devoted to his community. He regularly volunteers his services to assist clients with probate and guardianship cases, and he serves as an appointed attorney ad litem and estate administrator for the probate court.
