Attorney Laura E. Jones is a partner at Mackoy, Hernandez, Jones and Woods LLP in Frisco, Texas. Ms. Jones practices in the areas of family law, estate planning and probate. She handles cases in areas such as divorce, adoption, children?s issues, paternity, property division and wills and serves clients throughout North Texas.

Ms. Jones obtained a bachelor?s degree from Austin College and graduated cum laude. She went on to earn her law degree with honors from The University of Tulsa College of Law. In 2011, she received her license to practice law in the state of Texas. She practices before all Texas state courts.

In addition to running her law practice, Ms. Jones enjoys staying actively involved in the Texas legal community through membership in various local organizations and committees.ÿ

Ms. Jones is also active in the family law section of the State Bar of Texas. Recognized for her many accomplishments, she is a member of the Texas Bar College, an honor society of the highest trained attorneys in Texas. She earned membership in the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College due to her commitment to pro bono service, and was elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in 2019.
