About Kimberly D. Moss

The principal attorney at her own firm located in Sugar Land, Texas, Kimberly D. Moss represents clients throughout the Houston metropolitan area in a variety of different types of matters. In her estate planning and administration practice, she prepares wills, trusts, powers of attorney and related documents, and she has experience in probate litigation. Ms. Moss also provides advice and counsel to clients who are going through a divorce and are facing decisions regarding property division, child custody and visitation, and spousal and child support. She is experienced in oil and gas and other types of business litigation, and she assists consumers who are seeking information about their rights and obligations as mineral and royalty interest owners.

Ms. Moss is a 2005 recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish from the University of Florida. After working for a consumer credit reporting agency, she decided to pursue a legal education and enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. While there, she served an internship with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc., where she provided legal assistance to low-income clients in matters involving divorce, landlord-tenant disputes, and domestic violence protective orders.

After receiving her Juris Doctor in 2010, Ms. Moss worked as an associate landman, title analyst and land negotiator for various Texas-based energy companies before opening her law firm in January 2012. Admitted to practice before all Texas state courts, Ms. Moss is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Attorney Moss is currently studying to complete a Masters in Public Administration at The University of Baltimore College of Public Affairs and expects to graduate in 2023. She has a heart for service to others and is very honored to be named a Super Lawyers Rising Star by her peers in the legal community.ÿ
