About Elizabeth M. Ross

Elizabeth M. Ross is an experienced attorney bringing nearly two decades of experience to the team at Beckman Schmalzle Georgelas & Ross, PLC. When she first joined the law firm in 2015, she focused her attention on serving families in northern Virginia. She now also provides estate planning and criminal law services in the rest of Virginia and Maryland.

Ms. Ross earned her bachelor's degree at the College of William & Mary and graduated with honors. She then completed her J.D. at The George Washington University Law School, where she also graduated with honors. In 2003, she became licensed to practice in Virginia.

After law school, Ms. Ross worked at a premier law firm in Virginia. Her former position helped her develop the strong negotiation skills and trial experience her current clients benefit from. She also learned the value of seeking amicable resolutions whenever possible. Her commitment to her clients has earned her a ?Superb? rating on Avvo.

Outside of the courtroom and the office, Ms. Ross invests in her professional growth through memberships across several organizations. Some of her active memberships include Loudoun County Bar Associations, Fairfax County Bar Associations and Alexandria County Bar Associations.

Ms. Ross also has a strong philanthropic spirit. She serves the Legal Services of Northern Virginia as a pro bono attorney. She has also served on the Law Camp committee, Junior League of Northern Virginia and Virginia State Bar Special Committee on Lawyer Referral.
