Attorney Matthew Schottmiller is the founder and owner of Schottmiller Law in Salem, Virginia. A highly versatile attorney with more than six years of legal experience, Mr. Schottmiller represents a diverse range of clients throughout the greater Roanoke metro area, including all of Montgomery, Botetourt and Craig counties, who have legal needs involving any of the following:
A 2001 graduate of Roanoke College with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Mr. Schottmiller felt the calling to serve his country in the wake of 9/11, and he joined the U.S. Air Force as an officer, stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Following his tour of duty, Mr. Schottmiller earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of New Mexico in 2009 and his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2012. The Virginia State Bar admitted him to practice the following year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Since establishing his own private practice in 2013, Mr. Schottmiller has proven himself an invaluable ally and trusted advisor for clients dealing with highly complex, pressing legal challenges.
