About Integrative Family Law

As a partner at Integrative Family Law, Krista Stipe has dedicated her career to helping families overcome complex situations in Washington. As a child of divorce, she has seen firsthand how it can affect young people and helps guardians prioritize the children involved. Some additional types of family law cases she takes on in Seattle include mediation, cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements, modifications, same-sex marriage, child support and collaborative law.

Ms. Stipe's interest in the legal system began with completing jury duty. Prior to this, she earned her undergraduate degree in English at Montana State University. She graduated with honors and taught English to at-risk youth for several years. After the legal system piqued her interest, she went back to school to earn her J.D. at the Seattle University School of Law. She graduated summa cum laude and was in the top 5% of her class.ÿ

In 2006, Ms. Stipe became licensed to practice in Washington. Ten years later, she also became licensed to practice in Montana. Since answering her calling, she has racked up an impressive list of awards and recognitions. She has appeared as a speaker or presenter on the Family Law Practice Guide: Running Lean Without Cutting Corner webcast by NBI. She also maintains a ?Superb? rating on Avvo.

Despite her new career, Ms. Stipe has not lost her love for working with and assisting at-risk youth. She helps low-income families resolve family law matters without litigation by volunteering through the King County Family Law Settlement Conference Program. She has also served as a volunteer judge on mock trial competitions for undergraduate students.
