An experienced attorney and advocate with Brothers & Henderson, P.S., Joshua L. Brothers handles cases of disability, elder law, long-term care insurance denial, special education, and probate and estate planning for clients in the greater Seattle and Tacoma areas. As one of the firm?s partners for almost a decade, he also focuses on guardianship, benefits advocacy, implementation and administration of trusts, and benefits litigation.

A member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, Mr. Brothers was named a Five Star Financial Services Professional in both 2016 and 2017. He is admitted to practice in the state of Washington and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Active in his community, he gives his time serving on the Developmental Disabilities Endowment Trust Fund governing board, the Washington State Association for Justice?s continuing legal education committee, the board of directors for the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington and The Arc of King County finance committee.

Mr. Brothers is admitted to practice in the state of Washington and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University of San Diego School of Law. Currently he is an active member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, the King County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington State Association for Justice.

A talented, experienced writer, Mr. Brothers has published writings for the King County Superior Court, the King County Bar Association and the Washington State Association for Justice. He is a frequent presenter and lecturer at parent group meetings, continuing legal education seminars, symposiums and other conferences.
