At Otto & Steiner Law, SC, Lauren Otto represents clients in western Wisconsin, which includes the following counties: Trempealeau, Rusk, Pierce, Jackson, Clark, Barron, Buffalo, Pepin, Polk, Dunn, Chippewa and Eau Claire. Her practice extends to the following legal matters: bankruptcy, wills, trusts, estate planning and probate, paternity, marital property, fathers? rights, contested divorce, dissolution, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support and alimony, and divorce.

As founder of the firm, she aims to provide guidance and support to her clients as they navigate complicated legal issues. With over a decade of experience, she is focused on the wellness of her clients and awareness in the legal community about the issues that those dealing with family law issues face. Ms. Otto earned her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 2009 and is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.

Ms. Otto is a member of the Women?s Giving Circle, the Chippewa County Bar Association, the Eau Claire County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. The firm is also part of the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce. During her long successful career in family and bankruptcy law, she has expanded her services into do it yourself and mediation divorce and family law options.

A former Special Prosecutor for the Chippewa County District Attorney?s Office, she is respected by the community for her ability to make good arguments before a judge and for her stellar insight. Before beginning a career in private practice, Ms. Otto worked in Brainerd, Minnesota, for a circuit court judge.
