The State Bar of Wisconsin admitted him to practice that same year, and Mr. Coad maintains active memberships with the Dane County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dane County Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, among his other professional affiliations. He also served on the board of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for four years.
Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Mr. Coad has several publications to his credit, and he has conducted many lectures and seminars across his region on a variety of legal topics. He also supports his local community as a coach for his local youth soccer, swimming and basketball leagues.
