About Edward J. Hunt

Edward J. Hunt is a criminal defense lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in federal, state and municipal trials. A founding partner of the Hunt Law Group, S.C., located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he represents both adult and juvenile clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges involving assault, domestic violence, drugs, DUI, murder, narcotics, sexual misconduct, traffic violations and more. He serves clients both in Milwaukee and throughout southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Dodge, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties.

After graduating from Marquette University, Mr. Hunt earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. He is admitted to practice in all Wisconsin state courts, the U.S. district courts for the eastern and western districts of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Hunt belongs to various professional organizations including the State Bar of Wisconsin and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is a former president of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and serves on the emeritus panel of the Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin, Inc.

Mr. Hunt shares his legal knowledge and experience with others by speaking at legal education seminars. He has served as an assistant professor for the University of Wisconsin Law School?s legal defense program.

Mr. Hunt?s accomplishments have earned him respect within the legal profession and in the larger community.
