About Eido M. Walny

Eido M. Walny is the founder and managing attorney of Walny Legal Group LLC. From the firm's office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he provides representation to clients throughout the area, focusing on estate planning and administration as well as asset protection, business transactions and real estate matters.

Mr. Walny received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2001. While in law school, he served as an editor on the Boston University International Law Journal. Prior to law school, Mr. Walny graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science with honors from The University of Chicago in 1998. He was a partner at a Milwaukee firm before founding Walny Legal Group LLC in 2011. Admitted to practice in Wisconsin, Illinois and New York, Mr. Walny is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

The high regard in which Mr. Walny is held by his fellow professionals is demonstrated by the many awards and honors that he has received, including an AV* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer-review rating through Avvo. In 2012, he was the recipient of a 40 under 40 award from the Milwaukee Business Journal, and in 2013, he was honored as one of the Wisconsin Law Journal's Leaders in the Law. In 2014, Mr. Walny was named as 1 of 5 national recipients of Trust & Estate Magazine's "Advisors with Heart" recognitions. ÿIn 2018, Walny Legal Group was recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal as a 'Diversity in Business' Honoree. ÿMr. Walny has also received the Accredited Estate Planner and Estate Planning Law Specialist designations from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, as well as a TEP designation from the London-based Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.ÿ

Mr. Walny is active in a variety of professional organizations, including the Illinois State and New York State bar associations and The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, an organization whose members deal with international estate planning issues. His civic activities include serving as a trustee for the Village of Bayside, Wisconsin.
